Technical and aesthetic redesign of Akasha, the shoe from the La Sportiva Mountain Running® collection dedicated to endurance competitions, perfect for long-distance trails, ultra marathons, ultra trails, and extended training sessions. Wearing comfort is provided by cushioning, thanks to the Cushion Platform™ insole and large internal volumes, as well as the soft, breathable, and enveloping upper with a slip-on construction that prevents compression points during running. Dynamic ProTechTion™ active forefoot reinforcements provide protection and structure, dynamically following the foot's movement without constricting. The grippy FriXion® Red compound outsole features the exclusive Trail Rocker™ solution, which promotes the natural "external heel-to-internal toe" motion of the foot during running. The laces and Ortholite® Hybrid insole are also made from recycled materials. Akasha II: the ultrarunner's code is expressed through protection, comfort, and cushioning.
